Getting to know the land F1

In progress since January 2026 · 4/9 tasks

Before building anything, we observe. For a whole year we record sun, water, wind, soil and life on the land.

Permaculture starts with observation. To avoid designing the land from behind a desk, we follow it through a whole year: sun and shade, temperature near the forest, the stream and the meadow, water, soil, wind, animals and plants.

Everything goes into a garden journal that will help us keep improving the design for years to come.

We walked the land and photographed it with a drone for the first time.

We agreed on what to observe over the year: sun and shade, temperature, water, soil, wind, animals and plants.
